The school is consisted of three classes. One class of 25 children of the age 3-4 and two classes of 25 children each of the age of 4-5 years old. The
total number of the students attend the school is 75.There are 5 teachers and 2 persons as support staff. The school wish to join this project to expand
the knowledge of the teachers and the students on the area of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, self-control. The exchange of good
practices among the different schools of different cultures, the training during the project from particular expertise on the specific project subjects
running and developed in local and European level offer the opportunity and the challenge to the school as a whole (teachers, students, parents and
local community) to provide quality education. Also developing soft skills project enables school to foster motivation and competences including
emotional intelligence, assertiveness, empathy, civic competences and social skills. The people in charge for developing the project are the current
teaching staff( 4 teachers and the headteacher).The contact person of the project developing in Cyprus is Vicky Kayia. In case of any of the teachers
of the school leave then the substitute teachers continue the project. There is no expertise at this school concerning this project but all can contribute
applying their knowledge gained from their studies at the university and their experience on teaching at kindergarten.
